Dionysus provides only the best waxes to ensure skin friendly results for every guest. Our hard and soft waxes are great for the most sensitive skins. Our waxing prices may seem slightly higher, but our sanitation and relaxing rituals will make your visit with us well worth the difference.
Waxing prices vary from person to person, depending on the area, the amount of hair and the difficulty.
Things to know before waxing:
Before waxing, make sure that there is at least .25 inch of hair growth by the date of your appointment. Should your hair be extremely coarse, .5 inch is better for an effective waxing session. One to two days before your waxing, you should exfoliate any body areas to be waxed. The day of your waxing, be sure not to use any moisturizer. Do not tan 24-48 hours before your appointment as it increases sensitivity. If you are using Accutane, Retin-A, Differin, Renova, blood thinners, hydroxy acids or have high anti-biotic use, you may not be a good candidate for waxing.
Bikini Waxing
Please trim the area that is to be waxed if it is longer than half an inch. This will ensure a more comfortable service. The Brazilian/Playboy bikini is also available with some estheticians. Please inquire.
