Since 2005, Dionysus has won its place on Salon Today’s Top 200 Fastest Growing Salons. This is the fourth year running that Dionysus has achieved this honor. Salon Today is one of the industry’s leading trade publications.
This honor is given annually to salons that have shown consistent quality, growth and style. The salon was featured in a special edition of Salon Today Magazine released in January 2009.
Dionysus Salon Spa has again been named one of Salon Today's Top 200 Salons for 2008. This is the third year in a row that Dionysus Salon has been named a Top 200 Salon by Salon Today, one of the salon industry's leading trade publications.

Co-founder Dennis Clendennen traveled to Seoul, Korea in March of 2007 to be the lead hairdresser for two of Korea’s top fashion designers during Seoul Fashion Week. He led a team of Korean hairdressers styling the hair for Sung Jon Wong and JInteok being featured in ‘Korean Estetica’ and numerous other publications for their achievements. While in Korea Dennis demonstrated and taught Aveda’s Spring/Summer 2007 collection of looks to eleven groups of Korean hairdressers.
From Korea Dennis flew to Sydney, Australia where he demonstrated the latest haircutting and styling techniques to Australia’s top salons. He had the pleasure of working with Nancy Rao, Australia’s colorist of the year. He also shared the success stories of Dionysus Salon~Spa with salon owners and managers after giving demonstration of hairstyling at fashion week.
Dennis then traveled to Melbourne, Australia where he visited with individual salons where he shared his ideas and learned ideas from them.
Terri Clendennen, co-founder of Dionysus Salon~Spa, flew to Minneapolis, Minnesota to be featured as the owner of one of Aveda’s top spas in North America. The ad was featured in trade publications across North America including ‘American Spa’ and ‘Les Nouveaux Esthetiques’.
Members of Dionysus Salon~Spa have styled hair and makeup during every season of New York Fashion Week since 2003. During Spring/Summer 2008 and Fall/Winter 2008 they worked on shows for Thakoon, Ports 1961, Y and Kei, Rodarte, Philip Lim 3.1, Vivian Tam, Karan Sabag and others. Dennis had the honor of being Aveda lead at several of the shows.
The Aveda Color and Texture Curriculum was released in November '06 to
salons and Aveda Institutes worldwide. Again emphasizing Dionysus'
focus on cutting-edge education, salon partner Dennis Clendennen
shared his talents in creating the hair for the texture curriculum.
Once again, Dionysus is being recognized as one of North America's Top
200 Fastest Growing Salons. The official commendation will be released
in the January 2008 issue of Salon Today.This is the third year in a row that Dionysus Salon has been recognized by Salon Today as one of North America's top 200 fastest growing salons.
Dionysus partner, Terri Clendennen headed to Minneapolis in December
'06 to be recognized as one of Aveda's most successful salon owners. The
interview and photography shoot will be included in ads in trade
publications worldwide.
