Dionysus Salon/Spa is an Aveda Lifestyle salon and spa founded in 1996. We have built our business through dedication to continuing education with weekly technical education to our team.

Our commitment to continuing education has been recognized around the world. Dionysus Salon/Spa has been featured in numerous trade and fashion magazines around the world including Lucire, Salon Today, Hairdressers Journal International, Esthetica, American Spa and many more.
Our Team
We have two Aveda Purefessionals on staff demonstrating the latest techniques and educating other professionals across the country as well as conducting weekly education for our team.
Members of Dionysus Salon/Spa have styled hair and make-up during New York Fashion Week every year since 2003 for the runway shows of many of fashions top designers.
The Dionysus Salon/Spa creative team creates their collection of haircuts, color and make-up techniques every year. Continually training every week to constantly hone their technical skills and develop new techniques using their creative and artistic skills.
Co-founders
Co-founders, Dennis and Terri Clendennen, have presented and taught the latest techniques to other professionals across North America, Europe, Asia and Australia.

The team at Dionysus Salon/Spa will never stop to develop and evolve in order to offer you the most technically and advanced techniques to make you look at feel your best.
No Shows and Cancellations
Many people have asked us why we have the arrival policies in place that we do. We may be the only salon in the Woodlands area that implements these types of policies, but we are not alone in these practices. Salons and spas make revenues by selling time to our guests. Should that guest not show up or call, until the last moment for their appointment, we can not fill that cancellation in time. We will never overbook our schedules to accommodate….that is our promise to you.
All first time guests are required to book with a credit card. A new guest appointment can not be made until guest service’s has either a guarantee with a credit card or secured with a gift certificate. Failure to cancel your reservation within the appropriate time will result in loss of the gift certificate or full charge for the services scheduled via your credit card. Your credit card info is deleted after your first appointment. For return guests, 3 no show/cancel without notices within a short time will result in pre-payment for reservations (or may result in a 40% surcharge for the service).
Things happen in life and there will be times that a guest is late or misses their appointments. If you are late getting to your appointment and that technician can not see you, we will try very hard to get you in with another technician to respect your time and to respect the time of the other guests that are booked after your original appointment.
We value you as a guest and a customer. We try very hard to have your time with us run as smoothly as possible. We confirm reservations 24 hours in advance. If you feel that you have reservation and did not receive a call, please contact us as soon as you can. Please listen to the reservations stated on the message to insure that all of your services have been booked and to notate any special events at Market Street that may cause special parking or earlier arrival.
Parking
Many do not know that the parking garage is available to everyone at Market Street. If it is around lunch time or special events in the area are being held, please arrive earlier. If you can not find a parking place on ground level, utilize the garage and keep your car cool.
